How I work
I specialize in relational psychotherapy and draw on several evidence-informed approaches, adapting them to you and what you need.
- Relational
- Explores how your relationships, past and present, shape how you feel and act. The safe, accepting relationship in the room becomes part of the work.
- Mindfulness-Based (MBCT)
- Combines mindfulness with cognitive therapy to help you notice thoughts without being carried away by them. It is often used for anxiety and recurring low mood.
- Narrative
- Separates you from the problem and helps you re-author the story you tell about your life, drawing on strengths you may have overlooked.
